Fiesta ST: Hot hatch with supercar tech
The tech that makes our new Fiesta ST hot hatch has been revealed.
The sporty looking model has Drive Modes which let drivers choose from Normal, Sport or Track settings that change engine, steering and stability settings transforming the Fiesta ST’s character from sensible school-run hatchback to racer at the touch of a button.
With a sharper change in direction aided by new springs developed from scratch, and the sprints out of corners fast than ever thanks to the clever limited-slip differential that sends the engine’s power to the wheel with the most grip, making this hot hatch even more fun to drive.
With the addition of our newest tech, Launch Control, this helps track-driving fans get the perfect start off the line.
The new 200 PS 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine means you’ll hit 62mp (100 km/h) in just 6.5 seconds.
Watch World Rally Championship driver Louise Cook behind the wheel.
The Fiesta ST will be available in 2018.
